JOB DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The primary work of the Manager is working with the Associate Director to support the CEO in ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in her schedule and follow through in the work. In collaboration with the Associate Director, they will partner with the CEO to set up systems and support to run effectively and move the work forward.

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strategic mind and collaborative approach to leadership, enjoying the challenge of constantly and consistently improving operational efficiency and performance in a fast-paced environment. In addition, you will be skilled at anticipating the needs of others and proactively taking on new challenges to support business and people's needs. Ideally, you bring strong business and financial management experience with a focused, thoughtful approach to strategy and planning.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Project Management (60 %):

• Lead and facilitate processes and systems to implement projects and programs on behalf of NABA

• Structure planning, implementation and post implementation processes and systems on behalf of key NABA projects

• Ensure great communications between all stakeholders in project planning and implementation

• Contribute to the growing body of knowledge of projects and programs to improve our work and enhance our mission

Team Collaboration and Communication (20%):

• Create efficient, timely systems of communications and support, from executive updates to staff briefings that ensure that essential information is shared. Create models of these programs and execute them in highest priority projects.

• Serve as a resource for communications systems for teammates

• Ensure a culture of excellence by creating and executing practices that empower staff, enable speed and flexibility, and maintain the highest quality of service with operations

• Advise leadership and develop strategies for leading and managing change, inclusive of strategies for change communication, resistance, risk mitigation, coaching, and training

Operational Systems (20%):

• Lead the development and standardization of day-to-day operational systems, participating in both executive-level and detail-level decision-making on the full range of market activities

• Build and nurture critical relationships with key stakeholders that support capacity building, growth, and operational efficiency

• As a member of the leadership team, make decisions to ensure the most efficient utilization of resources

• Oversee development and implementation of facilities plan to manage and operate facilities

• Embrace and take on ad hoc issues related to operations

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience Requirement(s):

• 3 –5 years of experience in Executive support and operations

• Excellent flexibility and adaptability with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit to accommodate significant responsibilities and shifting priorities

• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong executive presence

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

• Ability to make firm strategic decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Strong time management skills and the ability to thrive under pressure

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

• A passion for working with people, an unshakable belief in their potential, and a strong commitment to the mission of NABA, Inc

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to communicate and exchange information as well as use a computer.

• Office/Remote working environment

• Ability to transport up to 20 lbs.

• DMV residence preferred but not mandatory
