JOB DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

We are seeking a Sales Director who is responsible for revenue, sales, growth and partner excellence with exceptional results. The Director is responsible for revenue attainment, building sales strategies, sales execution, account management, customer excellence and more. The Director must work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to drive sales, marketing, program, finance, and technology for success. This role requires analyzing the market to identify new business, new customers, and new revenue opportunities, as well as increased revenue share of existing customers and partners. Additionally, the Director will play a key role in building and maintaining executive relationships with key stakeholders. Strong leadership, strategic planning and focus, great communication skills, executive presence, and executive intelligence are required.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Results: Drive revenue, growth, and customer excellence results.

• Experienced driving revenue results through partners with experience managing within a partner ecosystem.

• Grow Existing Accounts: Build and retain relationships with key existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer excellence and retention.

• Grow New Business Opportunities: Continuously identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and ensure diversification.

• Develop Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue and growth goals through partners.

• Upsell and grow multiyear business contracts.

• Forecast and Reporting: Develop sales forecasts and reports to track performance against targets and provide insights for improvement. Use of CRM a must.

• Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, campaigns, and promotional materials.

• Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, associations go-to-market strategies, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.

• Business to Business: B2B sales experience is a must.

• Budget Management: Experienced with managing sales budgets and expenses effectively.

• Drive Sales Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and drive overall business success.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience Requirement(s):

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

• Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

• Experienced in B2B sales.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performance sales team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business growth.

• Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales forecasting, budget management, and data analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies in a competitive market.

• Deep understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales methodologies.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach.
